Dark Sugars Cocoa House is a chocolate lover’s dream. It opened in 2013 after the owners decided to expand from their stall at the Borough Market in London. I spoke to one of the owners on my visit there- her plan was to bring a little of her West African culture to London. I am so glad she did! Here you will find chocolate confections of all kinds – truffles, pearls, chocolate covered fruit and vegan options. My favorite were the Jamaican White Rum and Hazelnut crunch. The hot chocolate was to die for – the chocolate shavings on top are unlike anything I had seen before. The Gelato and ice cream were also amazing. I think a US store should be on their radar if they both plan to expand – I hope so!!!
